Attenta
AI Awareness & Responsible AI Usage Training — UK & EU
Safe AI use
Mandatory-style training that teaches non-technical staff to use ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude and Gemini without leaking data — short scenario-based modules, quizzes, named certificates, and an audit report your compliance team can file.
The problem
AI arrived in your organisation before your policy did.
Your employees adopted AI tools faster than any workplace technology before them — mostly on personal accounts, mostly unsupervised. The policy, if one exists, sits unread on the intranet. And the board has started asking what, exactly, your position on AI is.
-
The proposal in ChatGPT
An account manager pastes a full client proposal — commercial terms included — into a free personal ChatGPT account to “tidy up the wording”. That document is now outside your environment, outside your contracts, and outside your control.
-
The spreadsheet with names in it
An HR coordinator drops salary data and employee names into a consumer chatbot to draft review letters faster. No firewall flagged it. No one reported it. It is a personal-data disclosure your DPO never heard about.
-
The statistic that didn’t exist
A director asks an AI assistant for market figures for a board pack. One number is fabricated — stated confidently, cited to a report that doesn’t exist. It goes on the slide, and into the minutes.
None of these people are careless. They were never trained.
The training
Treat AI literacy the way you treat GDPR training: short, mandatory, and evidenced.
Short modules for all staff
Five modules of 20–25 minutes each, written in plain language for non-technical employees. No jargon, no code, no prompt engineering.
Scenario-based, vendor-neutral
Real workplace situations across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot and GitHub Copilot — customised with your organisation’s approved-tools list and policy links.
Quizzes: 80% pass threshold
Every module ends with a knowledge check. Learners need an 80% pass threshold or retake — completion means something.
Certificates and an audit trail
Named, dated completion certificates for every learner, plus an exportable completion report for auditors, insurers, and the board.
Curriculum
Three modules. About 75 minutes in total. Mandatory for every employee.
Each module is a lesson in a concrete procedure based on workplace scenarios, ending with a quiz that reinforces what was learned.
The starter pack forms the foundation for safe AI use in every organisation.
-
Introduction to AI in the Workplace
What these tools actually do, where they genuinely help, and where the risk begins.
-
Safe AI Usage & Approved Tools
Personal accounts vs. enterprise accounts, shadow AI, and your organisation’s approved-tools list.

Protecting Confidential Information
What must never go into a prompt/instruction: client data, personal data, financials, credentials, source code.

Who it’s for
Built for the people who own the risk.
IT & Security
Reduce shadow AI and data leakage with training staff actually complete — and evidence you can show insurers and auditors when they ask what you’ve done about AI.
Compliance & DPO
GDPR-aligned content, EU AI Act literacy coverage, and a completion report with names, scores and dates that files neatly alongside your other mandatory-training records.
HR & L&D
A rollout you can run in weeks, not quarters: plain-language modules staff won’t resent, completion tracking handled, certificates issued automatically.
The people who need us most are staff in organisations handling sensitive data — finance, legal, healthcare — that don’t yet have an AI governance programme in place.
Why this, not a video library
Training in compliance and information-security principles, not just another content pack.
Free Copilot tutorials and AI courses teach motivated individuals to use AI more. They don’t teach your whole workforce to use it safely — and they leave you nothing to show an auditor.

FAQ
Questions compliance and L&D teams ask.
Is this technical? Will non-technical staff cope?
It’s written for everyone in the organisation — reception to board. Plain language, workplace scenarios, no code, no prompt engineering. If someone can complete your GDPR training, they can complete this.
Do we need an LMS?
No. Staff access a hosted interactive player through a link, and we handle completion tracking. If you already run an LMS, get in touch — we’ll discuss what we can connect.
Can you customise our approved tools and policy?
Yes — it’s standard, not an add-on. Your approved-tools list, AI policy link, reporting channel and DPO contact are embedded in the relevant modules from the post-payment setup form.
What exactly is included in the starter pack?
Modules 1–3 (about 75 minutes of learner time), quizzes with an 80% pass threshold, named completion certificates, the Safe AI mark, a completion/audit report at day 30, email support throughout the rollout, and a customised approved-tools list.
How long does rollout take?
Setup form in week one, staff complete modules over weeks two to four, audit report delivered at day 30. Most organisations see the bulk of completions in the first two weeks.
Does this cover EU AI Act literacy?
The starter pack builds the foundations of safe AI use across your organisation and leaves a documented completion record — a solid starting point for Article 4 literacy expectations. Detailed AI Act coverage will follow in later modules.
